Ingredients.
- 200gr Lentils
- 1 Tsp turmeric powder.
- 50gr Butter.
- 100gr Onion finely chopped.
- 50gr Fresh ginger chopped.
- 2 Cloves of garlic crushed.
- 1 Tbs Hot curry paste.
- 1 Red chili finely chopped.
- 1 Tbs Coriander powder.
- 1 Tbs Cumin powder.
- Salt & pepper to taste.
- 2 pts of water or chicken stock.
Method
- Fry the onion, garlic. Chili & ginger in the butter until soft then add the turmeric & mix through.
- Now add the lentils & cover with water & cook until the lentils are soft then serve.
