Ingredients.

  • 200gr Lentils
  • 1 Tsp turmeric powder.
  • 50gr Butter.
  • 100gr Onion finely chopped.
  • 50gr Fresh ginger chopped.
  • 2 Cloves of garlic crushed.
  • 1 Tbs Hot curry paste.
  • 1 Red chili finely chopped.
  • 1 Tbs Coriander powder.
  • 1 Tbs Cumin powder.
  • Salt & pepper to taste.
  • 2 pts of water or chicken stock.


Method

  • Fry the onion, garlic. Chili & ginger in the butter until soft then add the turmeric & mix through.
  • Now add the lentils & cover with water & cook until the lentils are soft then serve.
