SERVES 4
• 1kg Pork ribs
• ¼ Pt Chinese dark sweet soya sauce
• 1” Piece of fresh root ginger peeled & grated
• 3Tsp Chinese five spice powder
• ½ Jar of clear honey
• 1Tsp Chilli flakes
• 50gr Light brown sugar
• 4 Garlic cloves crushed
• 3.5Fl oz Sunflower oil
• 1Tsp Red food colouring
METHOD
• Add all the ingredients to the sunflower oil & mix thoroughly.• Then add the pieces of pork rib & coat in the marinade for 24 hours.
• Now put the ribs in a very hot oven until cooked
• Heat the marinade until it comes to the boil & simmer slowly for 15 minutes then use as a dipping sauce for the ribs.
