Roasted Salt And Sichuan Peppercorns

Makes half CUP Roasted Salt And Sichuan Peppercorns
Served as a dry dip with other main meals.

Ingredients:
half Cup kosher salt
2 tablespoons Sichuan peppercorns

Instructions:
1.Put the salt and peppercorns in a small, dry skillet. Over medium heat shake the skillet and toss the ingredients until the salt browns slightly and the peppercorns become fragrant, about 4 minutes.

2.Cool, then grind the mixture in a blender or spice mill. Strain through a sieve. Store in a covered jar.
