And the favorite drink of the area is called 'sidra' or apple cider. I remember visiting the area and enjoying a frothy cup of sidra that was served by the waiter raising the bottle high in the air and pouring it to a glass that he was holding at his hip. Not a drop was spilled!While our sidra is not the traditional alcoholic beverage, it is made by the most famous maker in Spain, 'El Gaitero'.
